@mentions

We just released the @mention feature across all communities. This campaign will run for the next 2 weeks, providing you with a forum to discuss possible tweaks we could make to the feature. These will be collected at the end of the challenge and channelled into future iterations.

Thank you for your help!

Campaign: @mentions

Tell me who is mentioning me

Right now the emails get lost among all the others - i would love to know who is messaging me. It would make it much easier to spot the important messages.

Group Consultation

Can we email the client for the full day group cons the day before with the menu and so that they can advise the day before what they would like to eat the next day think this will just make everything easier for the Administrator and the consultant.

Inconsistent logic in deriving names in "Messages" and Mentions

It seems that unlike messages, mentions do not allow searching of 'partial' user names.

It seems to search either using the full name (i.e John Smith) in that order or trying to match via the ID jsmith.

If I type "Smith" I will get no results which is unlike the message.

Allow groups or custom profile responses as additional info

It might be very helpful to have the ability to add custom profile responses or custom fields appear as a third piece of information in the user suggestion box that appears in the at_mention function. E.g. if you have "function" as a profile question it would be James Baillie, jfbaillie4, Product.

Ability in Search Tool to Lookup Previous Record of @Mentions

The email notifications help for immediate response required, but you may want to pull up previous records of mentions for review in our search tool instead of scanning through a bunch of emails in your email inbox.
