One of the things we have been seeing when talking to customers about the new reporting is that there is a lot of information there, but a quick summary of the information they need would be really valuable. Currently, there is no option to track who subscribes to projects yet there is a button for users to do so. It would be great if this could be included in analytics.
The table in outcomes lists metrics, so help you understand your pool of ideas. This could be complimented by a Magic quadrant. Create a "dendogram" for clustering ideas. I'm sure their is open source code for creating a diagram of this sort. Then all you need is rules for defining how ideas relate to one another. Those rules can be based on tags, merging, linking, and key word matching. Outcome: Use our data to cluster ideas and surface themes. While it may not be as valuable as the participation data points, I think it's still a part of the crowd activity story.
At the end of every campaign we prepare a summary report and the statistics from the dashboard would be helpful. Unfortunately, you cannot view the statistics of archived campaigns.
Formatting in excel reports causes problems when trying to copy and paste data to other sheets. I have difficulty especially in member reports where I get an error about cells being merged therefore I cannot copy the email database column for example. I have not found a workaround on this and it makes working with the data in these reports very difficult. Any help and improvement would be greatly appreciated 🙂 ...more »
