Detailed report on a particular idea. Give an idea number, get a list of who voted, how they voted, etc.
Is it possible to implement a 'What's new' feature where people can see what has happened since their last login? So they could immediatelly see on what ideas others voted, what has been commented etc. etc. My clients are currently a bit confused because they don't really know what to do when coming to the plattform. Seeing stuff that is currently discussed, commented, voted on etc. would help them to find their way ...more »
Why continue to allow votes for those ideas in progress or complete? It makes no sense. It would make more sense to "simply" have a list of ideas in progress or complete without seeing the votes. This way a user also doesn't ask "why is this one in progress when it received only 2 votes as opposed to another one that hasn't been done yet that has 17 votes?". So ... remove the ability to continue to vote on those in ...more »
We frequently see new Ideas entered where the author of the Idea does not remember to vote for it. It would be great if, upon submission of a new Idea, the author is prompted to Vote for it. There is a use case where someone is entering a suggestion based on feedback from someone else (for example, Moderators seeding ideas into the system), but this is not the normal case... The author should be allowed to opt out of ...more »
I would love the ability to search for members as well as ideas from the search bar. Sometimes you want to see all the ideas a member has contributed to a certain campaign. Or maybe you just need to find someone in order to “follow” them. Either way it’s kinda tough to locate people in the current system.
Give users the ability to 'abstain' from voting on a particular idea but still show the idea as voted on.
With the vast number of ideas I try to not re-read them, but if there are some that I don't feel strongly about either way I won't vote. Then they still show the vote up or vote down buttons. If there was an option to abstain (think mark as read) that would help me manage Ideascale as a user.
User shouldn't need to create Gravatar account to profile image. This is really inconveinient.
Many customers have asked for "Poker Chip" style voting whereby each user in a community is limited in the number of votes they can allocate to an idea. This is especially ideal for product development, whereby it can be difficult to ascertain from your audience which product/feature idea is most important to your user base. This is what we have in mind: -Add vote breakdown so the community can see if an idea is popular ...more »
We've just made one of our communities public so that people are not required to log in until such time as they want to submit, comment, or vote. In the case of submitting ideas, and commenting, there are clear calls to action - i.e. when the person clicks Submit New Idea, an alert strip appears at the top of the screen informing them of the need to log in. In the case of voting, though, this seems very unintuitive. ...more »
There's no way for my team to translation moderate custom question answers. There's the option to translate the question itself but we've run into bad dynamic translation in the answer section and no way to edit it.
We have separate IdeaScale communities within our organization. On occasion, we will have customers enter an idea in Community ABC and it should have been entered in Community XYZ. We would appreciate a way to transfer or Move an idea from one community to another community. This would save the customer the hassle of re-entering their idea and losing any valuable comments / support.
Allow members to use emojis or emoticons in the comments about an idea to convey additional messages as is the case on various social media sites :-)
