If an idea has an attachement it would be helpful if that attachement was only downloadable for logged in members of the community

at-mentions are a bit tricky if the username isn't similar to the user's profile or display name. Can we expand the search algorithm to include user's profile or display name? In other words, if my username is MackDaddyP, and my display name is Matt Paulson, a search for either Matt or Paulson isn't going to bring anything up, rendering at-mentions unusable for anyone trying to tag me.
Why continue to allow votes for those ideas in progress or complete? It makes no sense. It would make more sense to "simply" have a list of ideas in progress or complete without seeing the votes. This way a user also doesn't ask "why is this one in progress when it received only 2 votes as opposed to another one that hasn't been done yet that has 17 votes?". So ... remove the ability to continue to vote on those in ...more »
Many customers have asked for "Poker Chip" style voting whereby each user in a community is limited in the number of votes they can allocate to an idea. This is especially ideal for product development, whereby it can be difficult to ascertain from your audience which product/feature idea is most important to your user base. This is what we have in mind: -Add vote breakdown so the community can see if an idea is popular ...more »
I've noticed that images that are too large for the header area sometimes spill out of that area and are obscured by other page elements. An image resizer might work well for keeping the images within the height/width confines of the header.
Reporting information from Ideascale on a deeper level is something Amway is interested in. We'd like to understand a user's sentiment- the way a user feels as they are submitting ideas or comments. Maybe this could be read through their tone, but that isn't very concrete and useful. This level of reporting would add a deeper understanding as to why the user posted an idea or comment. Normally this can be measured in ...more »
Every idea has an unique #. However if you use the Full Text Search (in the upper right hand corner) this does not search on the Idea #. It would be helpful if a search would be possible on this number as well.
As a moderator of a campaign, I find that I'd like to flag ALL ideas that are similar, but not necessarily all to each other. When I access the Merge Ideas "cart" my only option is to merge all of these ideas to one parent idea, or to remove them from the cart. So instead I must locate only the ideas that are similar to each other, put those in the Merge cart and merge those ideas, then move on to the next. If I encounter ...more »

Quick view (like on shopping sites) for ideas to get the scoop/more details on stage results or discussion without losing momentum while browsing.
This is an example of a HapYak video:
When I email an idea to a colleague using the [email] link under the idea title, I have to type in their full email address - big pain and quite clunky. If all our users are in the system already, why can't I just type in 'john' and have all the users with 'john' in their profile come up so I can select the one I want? Tagging people in the comments section of an idea works this way, but not in the email section.
