Linking Similar Ideas Implemented

The pilot capability to link ideas does not fully meet the expected needs of our moderators,

who require the ability to:

‐ Link ideas by categorization within a high‐level or summary topic or trend.

‐ View the information in a separate window, as opposed to a “linked” idea that redirects

users to the IdeaScale main viewing page, to increase usability. (Redirection within the

site reduced the efficiency of our moderators.)

‐ View all linked ideas from one location.

‐ Receive automatic alerts (and have those alerts automatically provided to submitters)

when an idea has been linked.
