How do you envision using IdeaScale primarily?

Thanks for adding the XML data dump (http://ideas.ideascale.com/akira/dtd/21074-3339).

Unfortunately, the dump includes only very basic information about ideas. Some additional data would be very helpful:

-- ideas:
* the "Why Is This Idea Important?" field
* account name of submitter
* anonymized IP address of submitter
* timestamp of submission
* category
* tags

-- idea comments
* account name
* anonymized IP address
* timestamp
* text

-- idea votes
* account name
* anonymized IP address
* up or down
* timestamp

It would be great to be able to get an XML dump of the ideas, users, and votes for an IdeaScale application (in particular, the recent opengov app). This would be very useful to analyze for a variety of purposes, for example, characterizing how the system is being gamed/spammed, how the interface might be improved, better methods for summarizing content.

Regarding IP addresses of users: it would be useful to be able to see users' addresses, but in the interest of anonymity, a possible middle ground would be to encrypt the IP address and include the hash in the XML while destroying the key. This would allow researchers to see when a single IP address is used to create multiple accounts, but not allow them to recover the actual IP address.

Site Admin Needs to Enable this by:

Login->Reports->Download->XML Format

Once the data file is generated (and the admin has enabled it for API Access) the same will be available for anyone to consume via the API Section of the Feedback Site...
